For this 2nd edition of ‘Heel Den Haag Vertelt’ – the free, annual story festival in the central library of The Hague – DISC is hosting the international stage on the 2nd floor (UK wise).
Just as last year, we are going to have loads of fun with shaping, sharing & telling stories. The 2nd floor has a circular stage and benches layout, creating an intimate setting at this lively location.
Perfect for storytelling!
We will create a diverse program with a variety of activities and atmospheres.
- For those who like to keep it slow & dreamy, we will start with our Relaxing Rumi Rhythms. 30 minutes of poems and stories by the 13th century Sufi mystic. His words of wisdom are an inspiration to the soul and a joy to the heart.
- If you like some liveliness and energy; come to our Storytelling Cafe! There will be several tellers bringing you folk and fairy tales and putting a smile on your face and a tear in your eye.
- Finally, we will end the day by sitting around an actual big kitchen table, with a pot of tea, eating grandma’s home made biscuits and sharing personal and mythical stories. Just because it is nice to sit together and see the goddesses & gods in ourselves and in eachother.
